I took Alexander to the doctor. She thought it was a virus, but did a blood test to be sure and said that it might be a bacteria. She prescribed antibiotics but suggested we wait until Friday in case he started to feel better. I stopped by the nurse's station and asked for a print out of the lab tests to have in my records at home. The nurse said his CRP levels were high and wondered why the doctor hadn't wanted a urine sample. We tried to get Alexander to pee, but it didn't work so I am going to go back again tomorrow.
Alexander wandered off while I was saying goodnight to Emma. It got very quiet so I went to find him and found that he had put on his hat and wanted to go out.
Ready for bed, fever not getting better, antibiotics it is!
