Day 1687
Saturday, March 22nd
Alexander at a second hand store. We dropped off two large bags of stuff and came home with less, hurrah (Emma bought a dress, shoes, and a hat). Emma watching her muffins bake. She sat there very concentrated for 20 minutes. Alexander doing yoga with Emma, the star pose. He got tired of yoga after about 8 seconds.

Monday, March 17th
For the first time ever I didn't do anything for St Patrick's day - sad, but I just could not cope, had a headache and didn't even dye the milk green. Emma, the person who cares most about these traditions was understanding. After the bath I couldn't cut Alexander's toenails because his feet and toes were so wrinkled. I manage to forget to wash his face in the bath.

Saturday, March 8th
Alexander found some stick on earrings. Later he and Isaac helped me make semlor, which we filled with marzipan mixed with milk and bitter almond extract, whipped cream and cloud berry jam. There were good, and Alexander even enjoyed them (but he didn't want any of the "yucky" stuff.)

Alexander woke up just as I was leaving for work and was very sad (he usually sleeps through my departure). Lasse sent me this picture to show me that he was fine minutes later :-)

We went to the park after daycare where Alexander played hard, and then home, where he wanted to take the stairs.

Back to everyday life. Isaac picked Alexander up at daycare and took this picture. We did a lot of laundry. Alexander was happy to reunite with his friends at daycare, but he also really enjoyed hanging out with the whole family for a week.

Friday, February 28th
Ski school ended with a demonstration where the kids showed off what they learned and then had a tug of war against the ski teachers. At the top of a hill. Emma reacting to a child picking his nose in the sea of balls Alexander was playing in. Northern lights obscured by clouds.

Thursday, February 27th
Lasse took these pictures of Isaac early in the morning. Alexander fell in ski school and bumped his head and hurt his leg. I gave him frozen peas to put on his bump, which he soon started eating while watching a Swedish children's show about "SuperPeter" who helps children make fabulous outfits for dress up parties.
