Trying out Alva's old booster seat. Emma is home! Wild strawberries from Farmor and Farfar in front of the World Cup game (which I slept through but the children and Lasse watched).

Thursday, July 10th
Alexander at the Science museum. Isaac, Mommy, and Carlos had another very long walk exploring places - buildings are open but hardly anyone is there because of vacation. Alexander and Carlos.

We took a two hour boat ride out to an island, Finnhamn, had a picnic, and enjoyed the beautiful nature.

Tuesday, July 8th
I took Alexander to Skansen while everyone else did other things. Alexander enjoyed Skansen but he kept asking, "when are we going to take the tram?". He wanted to take an old tram even though it meant waiting. He waited patiently, along with an old man who was also very excited about riding on old trams, and it finally came.

Monday, July 7th
Lasse, Carlos, Isaac, and Annika rented bikes and went for a long ride. Alexander and I met them, taking the tram and we ate in a nice courtyard before taking the boat back to Slussen and homewards.

We went to IKEA in the morning on a quest for small spoons which are no longer available in the US IKEA. Alexander had ice cream. Lasse dropped Carlos, Annika, and Isaac off in Uppsala and Emma off in Dala Floda (for violin camp). Alexander and I built with Brio train.
