A very active day: Saturday "school" with singing, dancing, and painting, a movie with Daddy, going to pick up Isaac, riding in a truck after a Saturday evening food shopping trip.

When we walked to daycare we watched some very fast low lying clouds. We noticed how the clouds that were higher up were hardly moving and we looked at the moon. Two sides of the apartment are free from scaffolding!

Wednesday, October 23rd
Scaffolding off one side of the apartment! Alexander likes it when I bring him fruit after daycare. We sit on a bench outside the daycare while he eats. Helping Mommy make black beans.

Lasse returned from France with chocolate, which Alexander built with.

We did some winter shopping, including boots for Emma and Alexander and shoes for Lasse, all bought at a store with such high shelves that they had many ladders available to climb on. As far as I could see all the ladders were being used by children, permitting their parents to have time to make shoe buying decisions :-) Isaac was also with us, but he wasn't climbing ladders, he was exploring on his own.

Lasse is in Lyon, France and Alexander spent the night with his grandparents. I met Emma for a snack at the library after school.

Alexander standing on the steps at Lilla Akademien. The whole family went there today! Isaac played recorder with his old teacher, Emma practiced her violin, Alexander sang, danced, and painted, and Lasse read through and gave me tips on how to proceed with an article I am working on. Then Lasse, Isaac and Alexander went out to the country while Emma continued to play the violin/eat lunch. Later she went home and I went to Karolinska and wrote. In the afternoon Emma sent me a picture of her room which made me very happy: Goodbye plastic from the kitchen, Emma's room, and half of the living room!
