May 31st

Eating a little pasta.
Worked hard to take his sock off.


It was pretty tasty too.


Alexander gets very, very, tired and then gets a second wind.
He is trying to stay awake more.

May 30th

Like his brother and sister before him, Alexander has mastered the art of taking up as much space in the bed as possible.


More blueberries.

May 29th

Alexander and my cell phone.
He loves my cell phone, and has even figured out that he isn't allowed to eat it.


Oops, it fell on the floor.


Communicating that he has noticed the cell phone is on the floor.


I help him "climb" down, lowering him onto the floor.


Happy.

May 28th

Playing in Emma's room.


First time in the big tub by himself.
He loved it.


He has become very active;
he won't have these thighs too much longer.

May 27th

Peeking at Emma when she came home from school.


He then proceeded to pull his way over to her.



Emma builds Alexander a figure out of Bristle Blocks.

Alexander worked very hard at opening and closing this drawer several times.

Eating puffed rice is great fun, but gets kind of messy.

Alexander still enjoys playing on our bed.

Listening to Isaac play the recorder.


Alexander has been sticking his tongue out this week.


Alexander doesn't always want us to feed him.
He enjoyed gnawing on brocolli trees.

Alexander got very happy when he saw Curious George.
So happy that Isaac decided it should be his.

Playing intently with toys he hadn't seen in a while.



Awake after a nice nap.
As you can see, Alexander sweats a lot when he sleeps!

Scenes from the kitchen.
Alexander has started using his thumb and fingers when he eats.


Was very excited when Isaac handed him the newspaper.


Isaac and Emma are silly after school.

Fell asleep sucking his thumb.

Exploring the contents of a kitchen drawer.


He wants to stand up most of the time.


Emma came home from school, fixed Alexander's hair, and sang a crazy song.

Alexander got to meet Farmor and Farfar for a short visit.

Happy bather. It is fun to see him recognizing his toys.
