Day 1725

Ready to leave. Alexander enjoys picking out what clothes he will wear and it is often a good variety of bright colors, like today.

Monday, April 28th
I've been lying and reading while Alexander drifts off to sleep and he has started wanting to look in his own book for a few minutes. So we both lie there and read/look at a book. It is very nice.

Sunday, April 27th
On Saturday and Sunday mornings Alexander often likes to sleep a little extra on our tummies.

Watering flowers, playing in the sand.

Friday, April 25th
Alexander watching the fire fighters put out a small fire that was apparently in our building or yard? (we never smelled any smoke). We watched them drive home again too.

Isaac picked Alexander up and they biked to Husby gård and played in the park for a while.

Tuesday, April 22nd
No picture of Alexander. A picture of the schedule for parent teacher conference taken to increase the chances I will remember when we are supposed to go. They have these conferences twice a year and it is a chance for them to tell you how things are going and for the parent to bring up whatever they want.

Morning bubbles and afternoon swinging.

Sunday, April 20th
Easter Morning pancakes. We had two treasure hunts (one easy and one hard) with clues inside plastic eggs. We went to Alexander's uncle, aunt, and cousin's house for dinner and Isaac and I hid eggs in the garden.

No picture today, I was out doing a few Easter Bunny errands.

The joy of finger painting.He hesitated at first but soon had both hands working.

What the four year olds want to be when they get older: two princesses, the Hulk, super hero, fireman (that was Alexander), mother, ice cream maker, toy maker, person who buys candy, singer, soldier, cook and baker.

We colored Easter Eggs, which I took to work as part of an Easter lunch.

Day 1711

They are removing the sand and gravel from the sidewalks which is always a sign of Spring. Another night reading with Daddy. He wants the same book over and over, "Mamma Mu" which is about an unusual cow. Mamma Mu watches the children playing around the farm and wants to do what they do: for example going down a water slide or building a tree house, activities that prove challenging because she is a cow.
