Happy Birthday Mommy! Pulling at his shirt sleeve, Alexander is getting better at undressing himself. He likes removing his snow pants when we comes in, which is very cute, because he struggles patiently to get out each leg and foot.

Lasse took Alexander sledding. Alexander said, "go home now" the whole time, so they were only out for 10 minutes.

Saturday morning. It was very cold outside. Lasse was sick, Emma was sleeping, and Isaac wanted to go for a walk. We walked to a park and Alexander enjoyed being pushed on the swing. We continued walking and bought some bananas and took the subway home.

Alexander was home again today, having thrown up again last night :-O Lasse was with him in the morning and I was with him in the afternoon. They met me at the subway, and I was happy to hear that Alexander had eaten lunch. I took him to play in the park and it was great to see him enjoying himself.

Alexander threw up last night and was home today, with Lasse in the am and me in the pm. I had to go to an appointment, which he slept through. Late nap = late day, here he is playing with Duplo at 9 pm.

January 11th Alexander likes Mommy's new telephone.

January 10th Alexander and I went to the doctor, and we also have strep throat which explains the painful throat. We went to the grocery store afterwards and picked up some yoghurt and fruit. Alexander helped.

January 9th Alexander was still sick, Lasse was very sick (strep throat). Alexander's grandparents came and played with Alexander so that he didn't have to go to daycare, and Lasse could rest. I had obligatory classes. They are building a new hospital.
