I felt this bump before I saw it - Alexander says he hasn't fallen down and it looks a bit like an insect bite, but it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

Friday, June 6th
We went into town to experience the National Day excitement. We went to the food/restaurant festival but there were so many people and the lines were so long that we gave up buying food there. Alexander and his balloon friend. For some reason they had the trash cans covered in plastic (they had other trash cans available but I didn't see those at first). On the way home there was a bride to be dressed in pink who was on a mission to hug everyone on the subway platform.

No picture of Alexander. More tired people. Emma left for Italy. I was up helping her pack until 3 am and then Lasse (who wasn't able to sleep either, though he tried) took her to the bus at 3:30 a.m. Looking forward to sleeping tonight.

Memory is interesting; Alexander remembers a lot of things from when he was two, for instance how the elevator used to be blue, but I imagine he won't remember it when he is older.

I was too tired to coach Emma into bed and so she stayed up all night, and was happy to join me on my way to work. Alexander's daycare was closed and Lasse took him out in the country. Washing the car. Emma was tired after school and went to sleep at 8 pm.
