Day 202

February 28th

First time sitting up in his pram; it has been so cold that we have had him lying down in the cosy baby basket even if he can sit well. He saw everything from a new perspective and was very interested.


Back home Emma came in and was being silly.

Day 201

February 27th

Had dinner with grandparents, cousins, aunt, and uncle!
Alexander is very social and enjoyed being passed around.

Day 200

February 26th

Finding his reflection in a toy.


I made a lime cheesecake and he tasted a lime and loved it.


Splashes in the bath and has a great time.

Day 199

February 25th

A hard day of teething.

He had a fever too, and was pretty miserable much of the day.
Some medicine brought down his fever and I suppose made him more comfortable, but he was still very sad, giving me what I would interpret as, "why is this happening" and "please help me" looks!

Later, Isaac also cheered him up.

Day 198

February 24th
Alexander had a fever and spent most of the day sleeping and nursing.
However, he was alert and happy in the morning and we played in Emma's room, which was sunny and wonderful.
Checked out some of her old toys too.

He is very flexible!

Day 197

February 23rd
Lots of pictures today.

This clear plastic lid is very perplexing.

Having a hard time picking up this toy!

He was able to grab it when the ears stuck out over the top of the lid.


Bedtime, Emma reads a story she is writing at school.

And plays a bit.


A few hours later, had to change pajamas because he drools so much.
More teeth coming and he was very sad.
Chewing on cloth with ice cubes inside helped.

Day 196

February 22nd

Had a bath and nursed for a long time. Then played "peek a boo" with Isaac.

February 21st

Took some passport pictures and sent them off to be printed.




Very hungry and the food is frozen and must be warmed up!

Daddy feeds him carrots.

They seem to taste interesting.

Day 194

February 20th

Not a very fun day, both Mom + Dad had the stomach flu, and were really boring!
Isaac got sick in the evening.

Playing tic-tac-toe with his feet.


Desperate to chew on cloth.


Now that he has a tooth, he got his own toothbrush.

Day 193

February 19th

A new day, and feeling much better.

He has started to enjoy dropping things on the floor.
His toes are busy while he eats.


He sat and chewed on this blanket very intently for about 10 minutes.


Later, he chewed on my finger, and I discovered a tooth!
Will take a picture of that tomorrow.
