Day 1625

Crying because we wouldn't let him eat cookies for breakfast. Moments later, distracted into happiness with Moomin. All dressed up to go to a birthday party for another boy at daycare.

Thursday, January 16th
Yoghurt and pasta with pesto = favorite foods these days.

The moon is almost full and Alexander enjoys watching it rise above this neighborhood school.

After taking a bath Alexander put some bandages on his stuffed animals.

Christmas vacation is over, Emma had her first day back at school and was tired. Alexander was very happy to see his friends at daycare.

Sunday, January 5th
Hmm, no picture. Alexander had a friend from daycare over and they played and played for two and a half hours.

Saturday, January 4th
Lasse, Isaac, and Alexander went to IKEA to look at some furniture for Isaac's room.

Day 1609

Friday, January 3rd
After work I met Lasse, Alexander, and Emma. We went and had a fika together.

Thursday, January 2nd
I went to work and Lasse took Emma and Alexander to the botanical gardens. Oh, I remember what I did yesterday: I went through my closet and found things to say goodbye to. I had quite a few clothes that are too small for me which Emma happily took off my hands - she had some of them today and was very happy with her outfit.

No pictures from today and no recollection of what we did either.

Day 1606

Tuesday, December 31st
Happy New Year's Eve! More Lego building. Lasse also likes the new Lego ship. Emma had a sad moment when she came to the end of "A Dance With Dragons", G.R.R. Martin's last book for now, she has to wait until 2015 until the next one. We ate dinner together, salad, fish, roast potatoes, and chocolate fondue. Emma painted. I went to bed at 10 pm with Alexander but woke up to see the fireworks at midnight.
