We went to another small play area. Alexander went down the slide twice and then he wanted to leave.

Day 597
March 30th
Alexander enjoys playing "up and down" with me. We sit down and say "up" as we stand up and put our arms in the air and "down" as we sit down again. It is good exercise for Mommy.
Alexander thought it was fun to put on Mommy's hat and run around.
We made shadows in the living room.

Pulling off Mommy's sock.
Emma asks Alexander, "Where is the VERY pink wall"? and he pats it. Then she asks him where the pink wall is and he runs over and pats the lighter pink wall.

Day 593
March 26th
Alexander's crib came in handy today when we wanted to clean and we didn't want his help, which includes turning off the vacuum cleaner while we are trying to vacuum. He had a good time throwing his stuffed animals out except for this eensy weensy spider toy. He has gotten very good at doing all the movements to the song, which we sang a couple of times.
Emma and I went to a used children's clothing/toy sale and found many useful things and some fun things too, including this bus, with opening doors and luggage storage areas.
We also visited Alexander's cousins, and when we told him that we were going to their house he said their names over and over.

We stopped on the way home from day care at a small park. I was cold and suggested we go home and have some pear. Alexander thought this was a good idea; he happily abandoned the slide, and he thoroughly enjoyed his pear.

Daddy went outside to play in the park with Alexander, and while they were out Alexander noticed his own shadow; he did not like the fact that it followed him around!
Alexander was standing on Lasse's calves right before I took this. He does this a lot since Daddy usually makes interesting noises when he does so.

Toddler moments.
Alexander wanted to eat the cleaning spray in the bathroom but we wouldn't let him :-) and he freaked out. He didn't want to be picked up or held, that just made him angrier. He lay on, drooled on, and licked the floor.
I moved him onto the rug since he was banging his head and eventually he calmed down.
Feeling better, he went into Emma's room. She was taking a bath, so he decided it was a good time to look through her desk.
Cool stuff in here.
Later in the day, we went to visit some friends who live on the other side of town, and there were more toddler moments; subways are fun to watch but he doesn't really enjoy riding them.
