Isaac had more homework for his home economics class :-) and Alexander helped him make a potato casserole.

Sometimes Emma cuts up an apple into cars, boats, and other objects. This piece of apple apparently looked like a hat.

Emma entertained Alexander while I made soup.

It is getting dark; here it is 8:45 a.m. and we are heading off to the grocery store. It was quite warm for this time of year, 11 C = 52 F degrees!

Alexander only had a 20 minute nap today, and after having spent the morning with his grandparents and an evening with friends, he was exhausted.

I was washing the cushion on this chair, and without the cushion it became a fun climbing toy.

Alexander took a pile of keys to bed. Played with them for a while until he became distracted by his toes.

Alexander was driving around the doll buggy so fast that I couldn't keep up with them.

It was Father's Day in Sweden. Alexander and Emma made Lasse a card and I made a cake.

I took Alexander to the children's library in town, which he thought was great.

There were books,


interesting objects behind plexiglass,


and plenty of places to run and climb.

Alexander spent the day with his grandparents, had lots of fun, and was a bit tired when he came home :-)

Woke up hungry and was eating his oatmeal with two spoons - but he stopped by the time I took a picture.


Before going to bed Alexander had fun lining up three bears and knocking them down into his crib, over and over.

Gymnastics! In the morning, wanting help to jump off a chair,


and in the evening, climbing on Mommy.

Beloved police cars. I love seeing how concentrated Alexander can be.

November 6th

Learning about spacial concepts: "in, out, over, upside down, right side up, behind, around, etc". Wearing a favorite outfit, which he slept in and wants to have on whenever possible. He cried when I put these pants in the wash.



The joys of having an artistic sister! Emma made another paper parking lot for Alexander, this time incorporated into the coffee table.
