Day 606

April 8th

Friday afternoon, floor exercises with Emma.

Alexander listened in on Lasse's conversation with Farmor and Farfar.
He recognized their voices and was very happy.

The conversation eventually ended.

Emma quickly drew Alexander an "American sorry" card which cheered him up.

We started saying "American sorry" while on a visit in the USA in 2007. My hat blew off, flew several feet away, and was chased down and returned by a nice man who handed it to me and said, "Sorry". The kids wanted to know why he was sorry, since he hadn't made my hat fall off and in fact had helped me get it back. They were very puzzled, and I explained that he just meant that he was sorry that this sad event had occured. Not that it was a very sad event. Anyway, we started saying, "American sorry" after that.
