We went to a new big park and tried out a new swing:
That was OK but the baby swing was more fun. However, there were at least two other babies waiting for a turn on the baby swing, and Alexander had been on the swing for quite a while, so I took him out. He had a full blown kicking and screaming tantrum. He was really mad, which I understand since he must have felt that we just got there; we usually go to a park that is empty where he can swing and swing and swing.
I took him to the empty park, about a 10 minute walk away and when he saw the swing he gave me a "you DO understand" relieved look. I had my iPod with me and listened to a podcast while pushing him, because honestly, pushing a baby swing gets a bit monotonous after a half hour or so.
We went to the kid's play area in the mall before going grocery shopping.
Alexander definately needs more stimulation now, he gets stir crazy if we at home all morning.
