Alexander woke up and wanted to get off the bed immediately to go explore.
First stop, the bathroom door.
He looked it up and down,
it moves back and forth!

Closed the door (gently) on his fingers.
I said, "ouch". He looked at me and tried it again a few more times, each time looking up at me while I said, "ouch".
Then he tried it with his fingers not in the way.
What a smart baby!
